Zach Haupt

Assistant Baseball Coach / Recruiting Coordinator – UW–Stevens Point

A Carlsbad, California native, Zack Haupt serves as the Assistant Baseball Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at UW–Stevens Point. A former Pointer himself, Haupt appeared in 10 games during the 2019 season, recording 25 strikeouts over 33.1 innings and competing that summer in the Northwoods League with the Wausau Woodchucks.

Before college, Haupt was a standout pitcher in high school, earning second-team all-conference honors and setting the school record for lowest ERA in program history. He was also named to the San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic Team. Haupt holds a degree in English from UW–Stevens Point.
