Player Code of Conduct & Commitment
ALL PLAYERS WILL FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES SET FORTH FOR THE TEAM AND THE JBA CLUTCH PROGRAM:
- Will be committed to the JBA CLUTCH Team for the duration of the team’s season. JBA CLUTCH will be my primary team and I will not miss any events for any reason other than an approved absence.
- Will refrain from unsportsmanlike gestures, talk, language, or profanity. Taunting players from the opposing team is prohibited.
- Will show respect towards the umpires and their decisions. All decisions made by the umpires are to be accepted as final.
- Will respect the game, teammates, coaches, and spectators at all times.
- Will not throw their bat, helmet, glove, or any object on or off the playing field at any time.
- Will accept the coach’s decision regarding positions and playing time.
- Will wear hats properly always facing forward on the field.
- Will keep jerseys always tucked in.
JBA Clutch reserves the right to release any player from the team for poor sportsmanship by the player and/or the player’s family during games or for other reasons to include but are not limited to lack of cooperation, poor attitude, lack of commitment, effort, or attendance.
Parent Code of Conduct & Commitment
ALL PARENTS WILL FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES SET FORTH FOR THE TEAM AND JBA CLUTCH PROGRAM:
- Will ensure that the player gets to practices and games on time.
- Will promote good sportsmanship at every event.
- Will provide positive feedback and reinforcement for all players.
- Will not speak negatively about another player's performance in a group setting or individually.
- Will treat all players, coaches, umpires, and spectators with respect at all times.
- Will accept the umpire’s decision as final.
- Accept the coach’s decision regarding positions and playing time.
- Will contact JBA Clutch General Manager about playing time but never a coach.
- Will refrain from giving the players instructions during the game.
- Will refrain from entering the dugout or other team specific areas.
JBA Clutch reserves the right to release any player from the team for poor sportsmanship by the player and/or the player’s family during games or for other reasons to include but are not limited to lack of cooperation, poor attitude, lack of commitment, effort, or attendance.
